Ballast Point's Big Eye IPA

BIG EYE IPA
BREWERY: Ballast Point (San Diego, CA) | STYLE: American IPA | ABV: 7.0%

This glass may be empty but not for long! Today we're all about Ballast Point's Big Eye IPA because, c'mon, what person on the West Coast isn't obsessed with this brewery?

Ballast Point didn't come on to the brewing scene until 1996, but despite its young age we still consider this brewery to be a titan among the Californian craft beer scene. Today, we notice that they are most popular for their SCULPIN IPA, but have you heard of their BIG EYE IPA? If not, you should high tail it to your nearest BEVMO because you are. Missing. Out.

This guy has a 97% approval rating on RATEBEER.COM for a reason... the Big Eye IPA is delicious. Similar to it's taste, its looks don't disappoint. With an amber pour and frothy white head, this beer in a glass is anything but attractive.

When you take your first sip your taste buds will be met with strong bitter hops and sharp grassy flavors... perfect for our hopheads out there. Savor the flavor a bit longer and you'll find several fruity and floral undertones. Being the complex beer that it is, it's great for those days when you want to escape the city for a bit but can't. So, if you're dreaming of Hawaii's sandy beaches... the Big Eye IPA is perfect for you!

Fortunately for everyone, this beer is easy to find at almost any grocery store with a craft beer section. However, if you can't find this at any of your local grocers, click HERE to order this beer online!
